Disclosed is a top-emission type organic light-emitting device (OLED). A transparent en¬ capsulation layer is disposed facing and spaced apart a substrate having a TFT electrode installed on the top surface thereof. A perimeter sealant is provided along the entire edge of a space between the substrate and the encapsulation layer. An organic light-emitting unit having a structure in a way that a light-emitting organic layer is sandwiched between a first electrode layer and a second transparent electrode layer is stacked on the TFT electrode such that the second electrode layer is oriented towards the encapsulation layer. A transparent moisture getter thin film layer is disposed between the second electrode layer and the encapsulation layer to remove moisture from the space. A hydrogen getter is disposed inside the space and/or so as to be extended from the inside to the outside of the space, such that hydrogen inside the space is absorbed and/or absorbed and discharged to outside of the space. As compared with a bottom- emission type OLED, an improved light efficiency can be achieved and defects such as pixel contraction by moisture and hydrogen can be significantly reduced. |
