FIELD: foundry, possibly manufacture of cast chains of heat curtains of rotary furnaces. ^ SUBSTANCE: casting non-metallic mold includes stack of cores having round cavities of links and members of gating system. Cavities of links in mold are arranged in two or more floors and in each floor they are arranged in the form of P-letter or non-full circle. Terminal cavity of each lower level is joined with initial cavity of link of upper level through transition cavity arranged in two adjacent floors by its similar portions. All cavities form in mold continuous zigzag pattern with total length Sigmalp = K (t - delta) where K - quantity of cavities in mold coinciding with number of links of chain, t - diameter of inner contour of round cavity coinciding with pitch of chain, m; delta - thickness of mold wall between adjacent cavities, m. ^ EFFECT: improved quality of chains due to elimination of chain links dissimilarity. ^ 3 cl, 6 dwg |
