1,087,231. Unstacking. SCHLOSSER & CO. G.m.b.H. April 29, 1965 [May 19, 1964], No. 17985/65. Heading B8C. In the moulding of concrete bodies, the pallets or boards which spasmodically become free at storage or drying positions are transported back to the moulding machine for re-use in such a way as to ensure a continuous supply to the machine. In the embodiment, stacks of pallets or boards 10 are collected from the storage or drying position A by a fork-lift truck B or rail vehicle and are deposited on one end of a conveyer C. A traveller Cb, mounted on the conveyer to run to and fro between roller tracks Ca, is provided with driving members Cc which engage the stacks and move them forward to accumulate them at the end D of the conveyer, a distance E apart. Intermittently one stack is transferred from the conveyer on to an elevating mechanism K which progressively raises the stack by one pallet thickness, a conveyer H, running over the top of the stack continuously removing the topmost pallet 1<SP>1</SP> on to and along a slideway to the moulding machine F or an intermediate magazine G. For this purpose the conveyer H is provided with flights Hb, arranged on an endless chain Ha, which engage the individual pallets. |
