The invention relates to a suppressor (10) for suppressing high-frequency interference emissions of a direct-current motor (26) that can be operated in a number of stages and/or directions, comprising a number of capacitors (16), which are placed on a first side (12) of a printed circuit board (14), and comprising first strip conductors (18), which are placed on the first side (12) of the printed circuit board (14) and which serve to respectively contact the capacitors (16) to a ground connection (20) and to a first connection (22) or to at least one other connection (24) for the individual stages of the direct-current motor (26), the first connection (22) and the at least one other connection (24) being contacted by a first connecting line (48) for the first stage or by at least one other connecting line (50) for the at least one other stage of the direct-current motor (26). The suppressor (10) is characterized in that a ground plane (34) is placed on another side (32) of the printed circuit board (14) located opposite the first side (12), and the first connecting line (48) as well as the at least one other connecting line (50) are led through the ground plane (34) while being insulated therefrom.
