The device (100) has two plates (115, 120) with rear ends fixed on a body (105) and movable front ends placed near an axis when a metallic piston (110) is in a withdrawn position, where the piston is movable in the body. The movable ends are spaced from the axis during a forward movement of the piston towards movable ends. The spacing corresponds to a total thickness of an implant and the plates which move perpendicularly to their surface.
