METHOD OF DESIGNING PASSIVE RC COMPLEX FILTER OF HARTLEY RADIO RECEIVER

A technique of designing a complex transfer function realized by a passive RC complex filter while completely taking the feature of the proto-type lowpass characteristic. As a first step, a proto-type lowpass characteristic F(p) having a pole on a unit circle. As a second step, the proto-type lowpass characteristic F(p) is subjected to bilinear variable transform represented by p=j(s-j)/(s+j) to derive a complex coefficient transfer function G(s). As a third step, from the G(s), a passive RC complex filter H(s) is designed.
