<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source switch controller for selecting conditions for power off under such circumstances that the power off is undesired or when the power off is required by a special method. <P>SOLUTION: An operation mode in the case of the depression of a power source switch can be switched according to five types of power off control circuits 20a to 20e of a power source SW circuit 11a according to an H/W status from a CPU, that is, the operating circumstances (the operating circumstances of a system or application) of electronic equipment 1.
