IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM, IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, SERVER, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system capable of being adapted to an environment wherein services are daily disorderly increased/decreased like general servers on the Internet.

SOLUTION: The image processing system includes: a composite machine 10; a function server 30 capable of executing services in response to a request from the composite machine 10; and a directory server 20 for providing information about the services executable by the function server 30 to the composite machine 10, and the composite machine 10 determines a service requested for the function server 30 on the basis of service definition information 25 transmitted from the directory server 20. Further, the composite machine 10 sets parameters required for execution of the requested service on the basis of service I/F information transmitted from the function server 30. Thus, the image processing system can be adapted even to the environment wherein services are daily disorderly increased/decreased like the general servers on the Internet.
