<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite checkup system of a printing paper surface which enables reduction of cost and space and improvement of properties of maintenance and operability of printing equipment and which enables also prevention of malfunction by comprehensive discrimination of a defective factor and can perform proper processings. <P>SOLUTION: The composite checkup system 1 of the printing paper surface can perform a plurality of checks and regulations on the basis of an image picked up by one optical image sensor 2. Therefore the system enables comprehensive judgment as to the contents of the checks and regulations and, in addition, can be operated with ease. In this composite checkup system 1 of the printing paper surface, accordingly, information is readily given as to the item that causes a fault, while in some usual cases, the fault is detected by a plurality of checking/regulating systems when it occurs in printing paper in regard to a certain item. Therefore the regulation of the system can be completed in a short time. It suffices for a web offset printing press 101 that it is provided with one or two optical image sensor 2 and it does not need to be provided with additional paper calipers or guide rollers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
