PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rattling of a resistor and to suppress the deposition of residual culms, grass, soil, etc., on the resistor when the resistor for preventing a dashing phenomenon is installed. SOLUTION: A walking type power tiller 1 is obtained by forming an extension part 3a extended to the rear lower side in a transmission case 3 supporting wheels 2 and axially supporting the tillage tine shaft 8 at the tip of the extension part 3a. When the resistor 12 admitted into soil and applying resistance to the traveling of the machine body is provided at the extension part 3a of the transmission case 3, the resistor 12 is supported at the rear of the extension part 3a.
