PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meter reading system of a gas flow meter with communication functions, capable of totalling the meter reading data of the gas flow meter with the communication function, using an IC tag. SOLUTION: The meter reading system 1 of the gas flow meter with a communication function obtains the meter reading data of the gas flow meter 3 with communication functions into an IC tag unit 5A for meter reading, and the meter reading data gathered into the IC tag unit 5A for meter reading are taken into a management computer system 6 via a signal converter unit 4A. The signal converter unit 4A transfers the meter reading data outputted from the IC tag unit 5A for meter reading to the management computer system 6, by converting the meter reading data in a communicative signal format which can be communicated in accordance with USB communication system. The meter reading system using the IC tag can be constructed at low cost, by using an existing gas flow meter so that an output data format of the gas flow meter itself with a communication function will not require changes.
