PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pest control composition having excellent efficiency for pest control. SOLUTION: This pest control composition is characterized by containing (1), for example, a pyrimidine compound represented by formula (I-1) or, for example, a 1,2,4-thiadiazole compound represented by formula (II-2) and (2) (RS)-1-methyl-2-nitro-3-(tetrahydro-3-furylmethyl)guanidine as active ingredients.
