PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance membrane treatment performance with time in a system and a method for filtering incinerated ash-containing water. SOLUTION: The system for filtering the incinerated ash-containing water is constituted of a dissolver (1) eluting a solvent component to water (4), a dewaterer (2) for separating into solvent component-containing water (8) and a dewatered cake (11) in dewatering, and a filter (25) provided with a filter membrane (55) without passing through the solvent component in the solvent component-containing water (8). The filter membrane (55) is back washed between filter processes (64) which is arranged before and behind based on time, and the filter (25) is introduced with a particulate substance (3) which is insoluble to water and does not pass through the filter membrane (55). In the filter process carrying out a back wash process repeatedly, positive loading of the particulate substance oppositely enhances filtration efficiency with time. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
