PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine controller maintaining suitable control in traveling of a vehicle even when short time power-off occurs in an electric power supply line with an IG switch arranged. SOLUTION: A micro computer 11 judges based on off-detection of the IG switch 31 whether engine rotation speed is equal to or more than a lower limit value and inhibits turning-off of a switch element 13 to maintain supply of operation power from a switch element 13 side when judging that the engine rotation speed is not lower than the lower limit. More specifically, when short time power-off occurs in the traveling of the vehicle by some causes such as vibrations of the traveling in the electric power supply line with the IG switch 31 arranged, the micro computer 11 detects turning-off of the IG switch 31 and, when the engine rotation speed monitored by the micro computer 11 is not lower than the lower limit, judges the off-detection of the IG switch 31 as that caused by vibrations of the traveling, etc., not by the will of a driver, inhibits turning-off of the switch element 13 and continues the supply of operation power.
