<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ink which improves both fastness of images and color developing property of recording images, and to provide recording images and a recording method. <P>SOLUTION: The aqueous fluorescent ink is provided, which can form, in the center part, a first concentrated image of a first water-dispersive colorant containing a second water-soluble colorant and can form, in the whole circumference including the plane in the recorded material of the first concentrated image, a second concentrated image of the second water-soluble colorant. The aqueous fluorescent ink contains the first water-dispersive colorant, the second water-soluble colorant, a liquid medium dissolving or dispersing these, water and a surfactant which, being an ethylene oxide addition product of a higher alcohol and a liquid under the environment of 25°C, can dissolve the second water-soluble colorant in a relatively larger amount to the amount capable of dispersing the first water-dispersive colorant. Of the first water-dispersive colorant and the second water-soluble colorant at least one is a fluorescent colorant.
