PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor which can secure high secrecy to a work target of high security while maintaining high operability for the the work target of low security by controlling the waiting time for execution of a screen saver according to the work target, such as data or document, to be handled by the information processor. SOLUTION: The information processor equipped with a display unit displaying a variety of information has a screen saver means of automatically changing over an information display screen displayed on the display unit to a screen saver screen when the information processor is not operated for the prescribed time. The information processor is equipped with a secret information discrimination section which discriminates whether or not secret information is included in the display information displayed on the display unit and a display time controller which shortens the prescribed time when the secret information is included in the display information.
