<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a life span of a seal member by preventing an outbreak of the rust while maintaining the seal performance to prevent the permeation of the water and dust etc. into a bearing even in the case that it has a curved surface part continuing to radial direction like a hub ring. <P>SOLUTION: In a seal member 7 for a bearing composing of the combination of the metal slinger 8 that is fixed to a rotating side member 3 and the seal lip 11 that slides and contacts relatively to the above slinger 8, the rotating side member 3 has an axial circumference face part 3a of the rotating side member 3 and a flange face part 3c continuing through a recessed curved surface part 3b. The slinger 8 is composed of the cylindrical part 81 that is attached to the circumference body of the axial circumference face part 3a and the brim part 83 that is faced to the flange face part 3c combined to this cylindrical part 81 and it is characterized that the flexible seal member 9 attached between the flange face part 3c is fixed integrally with the brim part 83. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
