MULTICHANNEL REPRODUCTION SYSTEM, SOUND SOURCE APPARATUS USED FOR THE SAME, AND AMPLIFIER APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multichannel reproduction system wherein a player and a receiver can apply inherent settings to speakers and properly carry out the inherent settings of the speakers.

SOLUTION: The multichannel reproduction system includes the player 1 and the receiver 2. The player 1 and the receiver 2 include DSP sections 13, 22 for applying prescribed signal processing to sound signals outputted to each of the speakers. The receiver 2 can set as to whether or not the prescribed signal processing applied to the sound signal to each speaker by the DSP section 22 is valid, and the player 1 inhibits the prescribed signal processing to the sound signal outputted to each speaker by the DSP section 13 when receiving a signal for inhibiting inherent signal processing to be applied to the sound signals outputted from the receiver 2 to each speaker.
