<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely control the hydrogen circulation flow rate to the required hydrogen circulation flow rate without deteriorating efficiency and fuel consumption even in the case gas density changes. <P>SOLUTION: The ECU 12 computes the required hydrogen circulation flow rate Q' based on the operation condition of a fuel cell system, and computes the actual hydrogen circulation flow rate Q in an anode system based on gas density in the anode system, and controls the actual hydrogen circulation flow rate Q in the anode system to the required hydrogen circulation flow rate Q'. Thereby, even in the case the total circulation flow rate of a circulation pump 4 is not known directly, the hydrogen circulation flow rate can be controlled and, without deteriorating efficiency and fuel consumption, the hydrogen circulation flow rate can be precisely controlled to the required hydrogen circulation flow rate even when the gas density changes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
