<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer electrolyte fuel cell system having a simple structure capable of effectively performing adjustment of reformed gas such as adjustment of a dew point of the reformed gas and removal of impure components or impurities in the reformed gas. <P>SOLUTION: The polymer electrolyte fuel cell comprises a hydrogen generating device 1 generating reformed gas containing moisture and hydrogen through a vapor reforming reaction by using raw material, a polymer electrolyte fuel cell 5 generating electric power by using hydrogen in the reformed gas supplied from the hydrogen generating device 1, and a reformed gas supply passage 4 through which, the reformed gas flows from the hydrogen generating device 1 to the polymer electrolyte fuel cell 5.
