<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium foil coated with a film which prevents generation of flare and provides chemical and mechanical stability to the lithium foil during treatment of the lithium foil such as use, transportation, or storage etc. <P>SOLUTION: The laminated film coated lithium foil is provided by making the surface material side of the laminated film, which is made by stacking surface materials of polyvinylidene chloride films or polymer films containing vinylidene chloride as a major component on at least one side of a plastic film substrate, get in contact with at least one side of the lithium foil. Preferably, a copolymer of vinylidene chloride and vinyl chloride is used for the polymer film containing vinylidene chloride as a major component and lithium alloy or a lithium thin film formed on other metal foils can be used for the lithium foil. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
