<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an introducer sheath where a blood vessel to which the introducer sheath is to be inserted is less likely to be bent (kinked) even when the blood vessel meanders. <P>SOLUTION: The introducer sheath 1 has a sheath tube 20 which is constituted of an inner layer tube 6 and an outer layer tube 7 covering the outer surface of the inner layer tube 6, and which is provided with a spiral hollow part 8 between the layer of the inner layer tube 6 and the outer layer tube 7. Then, an X-ray impermeable marker 21 is provided to the distal end side of the spiral hollow part 8, and a distal end tip 22 is adhered to the distal end side of the sheath tube 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
