PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel for forming an image of proper image quality, by reducing the influence due to the inner peripheral surface of an annular diaphragm member being formed into a rugged shape. SOLUTION: Two flare-cut diaphragms 21A and 21B are arranged on the optical path of the lens barrel 10. The inner peripheral surface of each of the flare-cut diaphragms 21A and 21B shows a sew-tooth shape, having a ruggedness pitch generated when being punched from a sheet metal material by press-punching. By rotating the flare-cut diaphragm 21B about the optical axis AX with respect to the flare-cut diaphragm 21A and mutually shifting the ruggedness pitch, effect is obtained that is equivalent to the effect obtained by installing a flare-cut diaphragm whose ruggedness pitch is smaller than the independent ruggedness pitch of the flare-cut diaphragms 21A and 21B.
