PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the decomposition of oxymetazoline by light. SOLUTION: Oxymetazoline can be remarkably stabilized against light by containing oxymetazoline or its salt and at least one kind selected from a berberine, a zinc compound, a p-oxybenzoic ester, sorbic acid, and a salt thereof in an aqueous composition. Thus, the aqueous composition containing oxymetazoline as an excellent vasoconstrictor having a long-term hyperemia removing effect can be safely and effectively utilized.
