PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inhibitor switch having small size as a whole, with reduced cost. SOLUTION: A movable board having movable contacts around a shaft hole 19 of a base board 15 is arranged, and a plurality of fixed contacts 50 to 52 are arranged on the base board 15 on both sides of the shaft hole 19. The fixed contacts 50 to 52 and the movable contacts are made to contact with and separate from each other according to the turning of the movable board. The number of the rows of circular arcs on which, the fixed contacts are arranged can be reduced, and the distance from the shaft hole 19 to the circular arc Ce of the fixed contact 50 at the outermost circumference does not become large by distributing the fixed contacts so as to range in wide angle.
