PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controlling unit for a game machine in which a board box can surely be sealed via connection between an engagement member and a connecting piece and the connecting piece can be easily removed and reused after unsealing and a game machine having the same. SOLUTION: The substrate box 2 can be easily unsealed by cutting a first cutting portion 12c connecting a caulking receiving member 12 to which the connecting piece 13 is fitted, a base member 10 body, and an other adjacent caulking receiving member 12 respectively and a second cutting portion 42b in the vicinity of the root joint 42c of a caulking pin 42 using a tool such as a nipper, the used connecting piece 13 can be easily detached from the caulking receiving member 12, and reused refitting the same to another caulking receiving member 12.
