HOT WATER STORAGE TYPE HOT WATER SUPPLY APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform a user of high pressure abnormality of a hot water storage tank and to intercept water supply into the hot water storage tank to prevent a lowering of reliability caused by the continuation of a high pressure state.

SOLUTION: This hot water storage type hot water supply apparatus is provided with the hot water storage tank 1 for storing water; a water supply circuit 3 for supplying water into the hot water storage tank 1 from a water supply source via a pressure reducing valve 2; a heating means 4 for heating water in the hot water storage tank 1; a relief valve 5 for discharging expansion water boiled by the heating means 4, to the outside of the hot water storage tank; a can protecting valve 8 for discharging water to the outside of the hot water storage tank 1 when pressure in the hot water storage tank 1 becomes a predetermined pressure or higher owing to the pressure reducing valve 2 or the relief valve 5; and a water detecting means 13 for detecting a water leakage from the can protecting valve. The inside of the hot water storage tank 1 is prevented from continuing to be in a high pressure state.
