PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of dusts caused by friction of a spring member for pressing a rotary shutter in a closing direction with the inner surface of a shell half when it drops in a disk cartridge. SOLUTION: This disk cartridge is provided with a housing having a pair of shell halves 11 and 12, a frame for supporting the pair of shell halves 11 and 12, and head access openings formed in the shell halves 11 and 12, and a rotatable rotary shutter 32 disposed to open/close the head access openings in the housing. The frame and the rotary shutter 32 are provided with spring locking parts to lock the ring parts 60a of both ends of a spring member 60, and the spring locking parts are formed into shapes for holding the ring parts 60a so as to keep the spring member 60 locked by the spring locking parts in a position apart from the inner surface of the lower shell half 12.
