PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic atomizer capable of atomizing a liquid efficiently. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic atomizer 10 is equipped with a liquid container 11 for housing the liquid LQ and an ultrasonic transducer 12 arranged in the bottom part 11t of the liquid container 11 to emit ultrasonic waves toward a liquid surface LM along an imaginary radiation axis AX and also includes a nozzle member 14 of which the leading end 14s has a cross-sectional area smaller than that of its base end 14k and which has a cylindrical inner space 14n of which the cross-sectional area becomes smaller toward the leading end 14s or is equal. The nozzle member 14 is constituted so that its base end 14k is turned toward the ultrasonic transducer 12 while its leading end 14s is turned so as to be separated from the bottom part 11t in the liquid container 11 and the imaginary radiation axis AX is arranged so as to pass through the opening surface of the base end 14k on the side of the base end 14k of the cylindrical inner space 14n. The nozzle member 14 has a communication passage, which allows the liquid LQ in the cylindrical inner space 14n to communicate with the liquid LQ around the cylindrical inner space 14n, itself and is provided in the liquid container 11.
