PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous composition comprising at least one poorly water soluble compound and at least one pH-sensitive dispersed polymer, also provide a method of preparing an aqueous composition, comprising the step of preparing a mixture by mixing such ingredients, where the viscosity of the mixture is less than 1.0 Pa*s. SOLUTION: The aqueous composition comprises (a) at least one poorly water soluble compound in an amount of 2 to 80% based on the total weight of the aqueous composition, (b) at least one pH sensitive dispersed polymer in an amount of 0.1 to 30% based on the total weight of the aqueous composition (the weight of the solid components) and (c) a pH unsensitive polymer in an amount of 0 to 10% based on the total weight of the aqueous composition (the weight of the solid components).
