PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording head which can eject a high-viscosity ink at normal temperatures. SOLUTION: When an ink channel member 12 is in a state with a deflection given by an actuator 36 to be concave in an ink ejection direction, a rotary encoder 20 is rotated in a direction to press the ink channel member 12, and the deflection direction is changed to make the ink channel member 12 convex in the ejection direction gradually from the side near the rotary encoder 20. When this change approaches the center from both ends, the ink channel member 12 causes steep buckling reversion at a point and is suddenly deformed in the ink ejection direction, thereby applying an inertia in the ejection direction to the ink near a nozzle. Thus the ink is ejected as ink droplets from the nozzle 16 in the head. The ink channel member 12 is constituted by arranging a plurality of hollow tube-like members and notching the nozzles 16 at approximately the same position in a longitudinal direction in the inkjet recording head 10.
