PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for destroying the cell wall of deer horn bracket fungus, simply operable and capable of destroying cells in a short time, a method for recovering the active ingredient of the deer horn bracket fungus, showing a high recovery rate and a device for destroying the cell wall of the deer horn bracket fungus. SOLUTION: This method for destroying the cell wall of the deer horn bracket fungus comprises a step of substituting water at the inside of the cells of the deer horn bracket fungus with a medium having compatibility with both of the water and a supercritical fluid, a step of substituting at least a part of the medium in the cells with the supercritical fluid by bringing the cells in contact with the supercritical fluid and a step of decreasing pressure at once for expanding the volume of the supercritical fluid in the cell wall rapidly to destroy the cell wall.
