<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a clutch built-in type pulley device 1, which method can improve the assemble-ability, and can easily carry out the performance check and the visual check in an intermediate process. <P>SOLUTION: A starting pulley 4 is provided as a body separated from an inner ring 5b of a clutch 5, and is assembled on the inner ring 5b by connecting an arm portion 4a to the inner ring 5b after the clutch 5 has been assembled on a pulley 3 for auxiliary machines. The starting pulley 4 and the inner ring 5b are combined by means of a faucet fitting so as to align their axes, and then are joined by laser welding. By this method, when the clutch 5 is assembled on the pulley 3 for auxiliary machines, the clutch 5 is not concealed by the arm portion 4a of the starting pulley 4, and the assembling work can be carried out in the exposed state. As a result, the assemble-ability is remarkably improved. Further, because the performance check and the visual check can be easily carried out before the starting pulley 4 has been assembled on the inner ring 5b, that is to say, in the exposed state of the clutch 5, the quality of products can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
