<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small electric vehicle in which a position to grip a steering device can be freely determined and accelerator operation is not obstructed. <P>SOLUTION: A steering unit 11 includes a first bar part 11A laterally extended in front of a crew and second bar parts 11B, 11B forward extended respectively from both ends of the first bar part 11A. An accelerating lever 18 has a base part 18A in a deformed C-shape as a whole and placed along an operating box 12 (accelerating mechanism part 20), a first operating part 18B extended in the direction of the second bar part 11B continuously from the rear end of the base part 18A, and a second operating part 18C extended in the direction of the second bar part 11B continuously from the front end of the base part 18A and having the tip end bent along the second bar part 11B. The first operating part 18B is positioned higher than the steering device 11 and the second operating part 18C positioned lower than the steering unit.
