<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent falsification of billing information in a public printing system by causing a server and a driver or the like that manage billing to communicate with each other during printing, for the collation of the number of uses and/or the sum of money. <P>SOLUTION: The system comprises a billing management server for managing billing and a printer driver that executes a printing process by communicating with the billing management server during printing.
