PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic drive unit for solving problems on the vibration, noises and lives of a hydraulic pump and an electric motor for driving it. SOLUTION: The hydraulic drive unit 10 comprises the hydraulic pump 1 provided on a body block 8 at the side of the electric motor N and various kinds of valves 4, 5, 6A, 6B, 7 provided at other sites than the installation site of the hydraulic pump 1.
