PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile interior material mounting structure for allowing the easy mounting of a clip to a boss of an automobile interior material. SOLUTION: In the automobile interior material mounting structure, the boss B protruded on the rear face of the automobile interior material G is locked by the clip C into a mounting hole H formed in the side of a body P when mounting the automobile interior material to the body. The clip has a J-shaped base 1 with a lock shoulder 2 on the outer face locked to the hole edge of the mounting hole. An elastic piece 4 is integrally erected on the inner face side of the base extending to the direction of the front end 3 of the base, and a pair of engaging arms 5a, 5b are formed at the front end of the elastic piece for engaging with an engaging hole 22 formed at the boss. Besides, a hitch piece 6 is formed at the rear end of the base for hitching on the front end of the boss. The pair of engaging arms engages with the engaging hole of the boss by rotating the hitch piece of the base while hanging it to the front end of the boss. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
