The tilting feed element (1) for a sorter (2) has a feed tray (5) which relative to an undercarriage (9) can be additionally pivoted selectively around two additional axes formed by support joints (12) which extend at right angles to the direction of feed (4) in the front and rear section of the feed tray. At least four spaced apart support joints are provided, each forming with the adjacent support joint a pivot axis. One coupling component (14) of each joint is connected to the undercarriage and the other coupling component (13) connected to the feed tray.
