A retainer ring (5), provided on corrugated hose and adjacent to end-sided corrugated crest (7), presses the respective ends (3,4) of plaited flexible hose against corrugated hose. Plaited flexible hose lies on the flank of end-sided corrugated crest of corrugated hose adjacent to retainer ring. An independent claim is also included for the motor vehicle.
