The device has a retaining ring (6) simultaneously maintained in a groove (4) of an outer ring of a bearing (3) and in a passage (9), to allow axial locking of coaxial input shafts (1, 2) that are free in rotation with respect to each other. The ring (6) is again inserted in the groove and is released from the passage, by acting on radial ends of the ring by bringing them closer, in order to disintegrate the shafts. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) an assembly of two independently rotating coaxial shafts (B) a method to assemble two independently rotating coaxial shafts. |
