PURPOSE: A shock absorber of a drum washing machine is provided to absorb and buffer shock and vibration generated to a tube according to the rotation of a drum in dehydrating. CONSTITUTION: In a plurality of shock absorbers(18) of a drum washing machine connection-installed to a tube(11) supported by frames(14) to absorb shock, vibration, and noise in driving, the shock absorber is composed of first brackets(12,13) installed on the front outer peripheral surface of the tube and both sides of the rear respectively; second brackets(15,16) respectively confronting frames opposed right and left and installed in front and in the rear along the tube at the lower parts of the first brackets; buffer springs cross-linking between first and second brackets; and the shock absorbers installed to an inner same shaft of the buffer springs. In additional, the buffer springs and the shock absorbers installed on the front outer peripheral surface of the tube are perpendicularly equipped from first brackets to second brackets. The buffer springs and the shock absorbers installed on the rear side of the tube are down-inclined from the first brackets to the second brackets in a direction of the outside. The elastic force of the buffer springs absorbs shock and vibration generated downward against the tube, and the extensional drive of the shock absorbers buffers vibration and shock generated upward for the tube.
