The tipping cigarette ashtray is a small case (1) with a rotatable well (8) to receive cigarette ends and cigarette ash. The well is attached on a rigid pin (6) fixed to a side section in the upper third of the case. With cigarette ends placed in the well the latter is rotated so that the cigarette ends are tipped into the case. The pin is withdrawable by a button so that the well can be removed from the case and the whole contents disposed off. A lid (5) is attached to the case by a hinge (9).
