<p>Fluoro-silane compound (I) (obtained by reacting fluorine containing silane compound (A) with one or more alcohol compound (B)), is new. Fluorosilane compound (I) (obtained by reacting fluorine containing silane (A) compound of formula (R f-CH 2-CH 2-SiX 3) with one or more alcohol compound (B) of formula (R(OH) m(NH 2) p)), is new. R fperfluorinated- or partly fluorinated alkyl group; X : Cl or O-C nH 2n+1; R : hydrocarbon-based group; m : greater than or equal to 1 or 2; p : 0 or greater than or equal to 1; and n : 1-20. An independent claim is also included for a formulation comprising (I) and one or more additional component (solvents (preferably alcohol (isopropanol)); water; neutral, anionic, cationic or amphoteric surfactant; alkoxysilane (preferably tetraethoxysilane); acid or base).</p> |
