<p>The fire-retarding light-penetrable hollow element (2), especially a hollow glass brick, has two visible faces (2.1,2.2) and encompassing side walls which as an inner generated surface (2M) circumscribe the inner cavity of the hollow element. At least one the inner surfaces has a layer of foaming material (5) reacting to temperature increase. The layer is located along at least one section of the inner generated surface so that the essential portion of the visible faces is unimpaired light-penetrable. An independent claim is included for a wall element (1) with a number of the aforesaid hollow elements.</p> |
