The invention concerns a clamp (1) which is used for connecting control pane ls disposed adjacent one another in a plane and to that end engages on edge web pieces (2) or edge profiles of these control panels. These edge web pieces ( 2) lie immediately adjacent one another or can have an intermediate part therebetween. For adaptation to spacings which consequently vary or to different dimensions of the edge web pieces (2) or edge profiles, a first pivotable clamping jaw (4) is continuously displaceable in its direction of longitudinal extension relative to a fixed clamping jaw (5), on a carrier comprising the two clamping jaws (4 and 5). To that end, the first clamping jaw is pivotably mounted on a slide (10) which can in turn be fixed in any position by clamping on the carrier (6), in particular by tilting or pivot movements in opposite senses. In this way the spacings between the clamping jaws (4 and 5) can be continuously adjusted without measures having to be taken on the carrier (6) itself in order to hold the pivot pin (9) of the pivotable clamping jaw (4), which would weaken the carrier (6).
