<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave detection apparatus capable of storing history information on the operation of a vehicle at an appropriate timing. <P>SOLUTION: The microwave detection apparatus is constituted of a GPS receiving part 1 and a microwave receiving part 2. Position information and speed information detected by the GPS receiving part 1 are inputted to a control part 23 with time information of a time detecting part 15. The control part 23 stores history information comprising the position information, the speed information, and the time information into a history memory part 25 at the timing at which a microwave detecting part 22 detects microwaves of a prescribed frequency, at the timing at which the vehicle reaches an installation location of a radar-type speed measuring device stored in a location information storage part 27, or at the timing at which a switch 28 for storing history information is turned on.
