The invention relates to a surface decoration for a covering part, especially for an inner trim part in a motor vehicle, partially formed by a cast skin (4). The surface decoration consists of a decorative insert (5) whose edge (6) is adjacent to an area of the surface decoration formed by said cast skin (6). The edge (6) of the decorative insert (5) is enclosed by the cast skin (4). The invention also relates to a method for the production of a corresponding surface decoration and to a casting tool for the production of said surface decoration. According to the invention, highly esthetic trim parts can be produced in a highly simple manner. |
