<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locker management system which has high convenience and safety, and which dispenses with a considerable expense for the construction and maintenance of the system. <P>SOLUTION: When a user holds a cellular phone 30 with a tag reader function over a non-contact IC tag with a notification function, a locker number is read and stored by the cellular phone 30. Information on the identification of the cellular phone 30 is stored in the IC tags 4 (4a, 4b and 4n), and a locker is locked by driving a locking mechanism part. After that, when the user holds the cellular phone 30 over a non-contact IC tags 4, the IC tags 4 recognize that the user is a legitimate one, according to the read UID of the cellular phone 30; and when the IC tags 4 determines that the read locker number corresponds to its own locker number, they provide notifications on a place of the locker, and put the locker into an unlockable state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
