PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately operate a safety device at passing through a curve, existing forward in the advancing direction of a vehicle. SOLUTION: An operating part 64 has the operation period of the safety device extended from a predetermined period by a predetermined extension period, when a curve recognition part 61 recognizes an equivalent curve by image processing data outputted from an external sensor 16, while the safety device is operated over the predetermined period according to, for example, a curve-shape value, the traveling state of the vehicle, or the like with respect to a curve recognized by the curve recognition part 61, based on road data stored in a map data storage part 23.
