The invention relates to a remote-controlled gate drive system comprising a motor drive device (8) which is used to drive gates (6), a stationary receiver device (12) which is associated with the drive device (8) and a manual emitter (1, 40) which is provided with an external housing (15), said hand emitter being used to emit control commands to the receiver (12) in order to control the drive device (8) and/or to control functions connected therewith, such as light, an alarm system, a second gate etc. The housing (15) of the manual emitter (1, 40) comprises a metal area (2, 3, 42) made of metal or has a surface covered with metal and a non-metal area (4) formed from non-metal in order to create a technically demanding high-value impression of quality among users while at the same time providing a discrete structure. |
